Alayna (she/her) is a queer Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor who works alongside individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment work, and identity exploration. She believes that folks seek counselling due to a combination of unmet relational needs, emotional discord, and unprocessed past experiences.
Alayna uses a relational, holistic approach that combines parts work (IFS), trauma processing (EMDR), somatics (the body), and attachment-based models (EFT) to support nervous system regulation and overall healing. With warmth, curiosity, and compassion, she aims to create a therapeutic relationship that supports you in exploring, discovering, and celebrating your most authentic self.
Outside of the therapy room, Alayna loves to climb, camp, and spend time with her cat, dog, and loved ones. She is a settler, currently living and practicing on the stolen, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.
